NEW ALLOY FOR SOLDER PASTE: SCAN-Ge

 

  • SCAN-Ge is a low Ag SAC-alloy with Ni and Ge additives.

  • The low Ag improves the wetting.

  • Ni and Ge are added to futher improve properties.
  • Ge reduces oxidation of the powder, giving longer shelf and stencil life.
  • Satin surface - no interfering reflexes and improved properties for AOI.
  • Big reduction of tumb-stoning.
  • Genuine meniscus when soldering  QFN components.

Process development as pretreatment before painting
Candor can now present a new process for pretreatment as a replacement for Ironphosphate, zincphosphate and pretretment before Electrolac. The process is called Zirca-Sil 18 and has the following advantages:
  • Vorks at roomtemperature
  • No sludge
  • Process adapted for iron, steel, aluminium and zinc
  • Simple neutralization in waste water treatment

For sale

One of Candor customers have an equipment for cleaning wire for sale.

The cleaning unit is designed to clean wire directly in line with drawing machine at high wire speeds. The plant was never commissioned but is brand new. The plant is designed to use only hot water.

The plant is for sale complete with the Candor patented Candojet HW211 cleaning unit made of stainless steel, hot wind dryer unit and electrical cabinet with PLC.

Farmos Oy and Candor Sweden AB has made an agreement:

The Finnish company Farmos Oy and Candor Sweden AB is starting a cooperation from the first of October regarding manufacturing and sales of Farmos pre-treatment products for the surface treatment industry.

 

Farmos Oy is a Finnish company specialised in products for cleaning and personal care for the industry and domestic. Farmos Oy is a part of the KiiltoClean Group.

Candor Sweden AB will manufacture under licence Farmos pre-treatment powder products for the surface treatment industry in the factory in Norrköping.

Candor will be marketing and selling the whole range of Farmos products, also liquid products, to the surface treatment industry in all Nordic countries.

In Finland Candor Oy will start the delivery of Farmos products to existing Finnish customers from the 1st of October.

LINE FOR NICKEL PLATING OF WIRE
Candor has delivered a line for Nickel Plating of Wire to VIRAJ in India.

The line is for parallel plating of five wires of stainless steel and includes the following process steps: pickling, nickel strike, nickel plate and rinses.
